Psychobunny

Little Psycho bunny
is muddled in the head,
Not so much Easter bunny,
As return of the undead.

He has his basket laden,
With what should be chocolate treats,
But is instead a strange array-
Of arms and legs and feets.

He hippity hops with gaiety,
Scattering his gory treats,
Leaving a tell tale scarlet trail,
As he roams the city streets.

Psycho bunny, a most toothsome and handsome chap, lived in a meandering warren deep within the petrified forest. When he was a baby bunny his mother had often told the tale of the Easter Bunny, a mystical Rabbit who roamed the streets of mortal lands delivering a brilliant array of Chocolate Easter Eggs which made him a hero amongst Mortal Children everywhere, though mysteriously no one ever laid eyes on this incredible, magical beast.
Psycho bunny had liked the story just fine and had dreamed that one day he too might be a super hero bunny and create a legend all of his own.
When he was old enough Psycho bunny started giving this aspiration some serious thought. A basket of chocolate was all well and good, but it lacked a certain drama in Psycho bunny's mind. After much pondering Psycho bunny hatched out a marvelous plan, a plan he was sure would wow ghoulies near and far and one they would not soon forget.
The very next evening he borrowed a grocery basket from the local supermarket and just after dawn (when all good ghoulie babies everywhere are snuggled under their cobweb quilts fast asleep) he set about collecting his gifts and then re-distributing them all around the ghoulie underworld.
You can imagine the surprise the very next evening when upon waking residents of the underworld and petrified forest found themselves to be either sans limbs or else the lucky recipients of new ones.
It would seem that Psycho-bunny's foray into Easter Legend had been memorable indeed. For months ever after ghoulie babies searched for missing body parts or indeed disputed the ownership of others.
Psycho bunny was thrilled with the results of his labors, but having tired of easter- he turned his sights and energies toward Christmas and visions of 'Santa Psychobunny!'..
